Original "Mutt and Jeff" Sunday, dateret 26. maj 1946, stor og flot.

Mutt and Jeff - the first continuously published 6 day a week comic strip - was rendered by Bud Fisher. Mutt and Jeff was unleashed to an unsuspecting public in 1907 and had an immediate appeal. The boy’s antics amused and entertained everyone. This is a great piece!

This very rare piece of comic art history is by the originator of the multi panel comic strip. This original comic strip is extremely rare, especially because it is signed by Bud Fisher. Great piece of comic art history.

Here is a great original Sunday Strip measuring 25 1/2" x 17 3/4", with 12 panels, and it is authentically hand signed boldly in the last panel by Bud Fisher and dated 5-26-46.

There is some normal age toning and soiling to the outside of the border and also some tape residue. On the left border, there is a 3/4" tear. All of this could easily be matted out. EXCELLENT ITEM to add to your comic collection!  -  E-mail:
