Original art, Prince Valiant Sunday by Hal Foster, 5-3-1970.

Description: proudly presents a Prince Valiant Sunday page by Hal Foster, which will be the jewel of any collection of original comic art.

The page is dated 5-3 1970, planche 1734.

Eight large drawings by Hal Foster from his last year on the Sunday strip.

Outstanding original artwork for PRINCE VALIANT, the classic and immortal adventure strip by artist Hal Foster for King Features Syndicate - this is Sunday 1734 published on 5/3/1970 - india ink on doubleweight drawing paper, about 24 x 34" and signed in the last panel.

An especially well-composed original, with Val, Aleta, Sir Gawain, plus swordplay, horses and the beautiful, wonderfully-detailed costumes and backgrounds which Mr. Foster did so well.

CONDITION: VERY GOOD - minor spotting and staining near text panels from rubber cement, title logo tanned - otherwise in excellent shape, clean and bright, inks very black and glossy.  -  E-mail:
